Every regular student of the college is a member of the College Students' Union. The Students' Union co-ordinates the participation of the students in co-curricular activities. The Students' Union publishes BBKCIAN'- the college magazine annually to promote literary and creative activity among students.
To promote work-culture activity among students and for their growth towards becoming good citizen, there is a branch of NSS (National Service Scheme) in the college. Students are expected to avail this facility by enrolling their names in this branch.
In addition, a unit of NCC (National Cadet Corps) has been introduced from 2008 with a vision to promote character building and to create team spirit, sense of sacrifice and dedication. Students will be able to feel the pride of nationalism through this unit.
The college introduced Bharat Scouts and Guides unit from the year 2017 which is registered under the Bharat Scouts and Guides of Assam unit.
