The College has an excellent Library and Information Centre, one of the institution's central support services. The library has been carefully designed to provide a comfortable seating and reading environment with proper light and air conditioners. It's a spacious premise comprising an area of 2795 sq feet. The library has the capacity of sitting more than 70 readers in total with the provision of separate reading rooms for students and teachers. There is also a dedicated digital room for accessing e-documents & internet in the library and a beautifully designed periodical section with group discussion tables.
The library has a boasting collection of more than 16000 physical books and other resources. Currently, the library is subscribing to one peer-reviewed journal in physical format, 8 Magazines and 3 Newspapers. The library also preserves some valuable old and rare manuscripts collected from the localities. The library is subscribing to N-List & NDLi services which provides free access to more than 2 lacs e-books and 6000 e-journals. The Library has its own Digital Library over Cloud server to store and provide online access to e-resources created and collected by the college.
The Library is automated using KOHA software. All the issue return processes are operated through the software using barcode printed ID Card. The library has its own OPAC for catalogue searching, Online Attendance system and a dedicated webpage. To enhance security, the library is equipped with CCTV system. The library provides reprographic services to the students. As part of the automation and digitization, the library has a tabletop scanner for the digitization process. The library has a Laser printer and a barcode printer and four scanner for the automation purpose.
