Course of Study :

1)  Higher Secondary courses in Arts and Science.
2)  Three Year Degree Courses (consists of six semesters) in Arts and Science.
3)  Three Year Degree Course (six semesters) in Computer Application (BCA).
4)  One year Post Graduate Diploma (two semesters) in Computer Application (PGDCA).


Subjects offered in Higher Secondary Course :

Arts :  Eligibility :  H.S.L.C. or equivalent recognized examination.
Subjects :  English, MIL (Assamese and Hindi), Economics, Education, Political Science, History, Mathematics, Logic & Philosophy, Arabic, Adv. Assamese, Anthropology.
Science :  Eligibility :  H.S.L.C. or equivalent recognized examination.
Subjects :  English, MIL (Assamese and Hindi), Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, Anthropology, Economics.


Combination of subjects in H.S. Course :

Arts:

(i)  English is compulsory.
(ii)  A student must select one Modern Indian Language, either Assamese or Hindi.
(iii)  A student must select three/ four elective subjects from the following list:
    (a) Economics  (b) Political Science  (c) Logic & Philosophy  (d) Education  (e) Anthropology (History/ Mathematics/ Adv. Assamese/ Arabic

Duration of all B.A/BSc/BCA Degree Courses

The duration of the courses shall be of three years consisting of six semesters.


SELF FINANCED COURSES :

BCA :

Eligibility : Minimum requirement for admission to the course is H.S. or equivalent examination in any stream.
Student not from Science stream will have to take up a Bridge course in addition to the normal course in the 1st semester.

Post Graduate Diploma Course in Computer Application (PGDCA).

Course Duration : The duration of the course is one year consisting of two Semesters.
Eligibility : A student with a Bachelor Degree of 10+ 2+ 3 pattren in any discipline is eligible for the course, preferably students having Mathematics at the Higher Secondary level and obtaining minimum pass mark in the subject is eligible for admission. Candidates not having Mathematics at the Higher Secondary level will have to pursue a Bridge course.

Courses under Distance mode.

The college is going to introduce various courses under Krishna Kanta Handique State Open University (KKHSOU) for the session 2020-21.
